Kilgetty AFC was established in 1924, making 2024 Kilgetty AFC’s Centenary Year. As a result, the club are making plans to celebrate.
Plans include compiling and designing a book of Kilgetty AFC history from its origin to date, whilst putting together a display including photographs, documents and memorabilia in Kingsmoor Sports Club
This summer Kilgetty hope to host a special Centenary Celebration Meal with guest speakers, and hold a family orientated Centenary Celebration Event for the Junior members and Centenary Junior Football Festival.
The club will be raising funds by selling Centenary branded memorabilia, and Beyond The White Line have already sponsored Kilgetty Senior Men’s First Team Centenary Kits.
New York Welsh and Cleddau Financial Services have offered sponsorship, but to make the event special the club will be relying on local business to help fund the celebrations.
