Representatives from Kilgetty Women’s Institute recently visited Kilgetty Association Football Club presenting them with a donation of £1,000.

The generous donation was gratefully received by Kilgetty AFC and will be used to support the club’s growing girl’s football teams and new Women’s football training sessions:

We express our thanks to all involved in the WI for the donation which will be used to support our work with the Girl’s Football teams and our new Women’s Football Training sessions.” Shared Kilgetty AFC Secretary and Girl’s Coach, Sharron Stokieshazer Hardwick.

Kilgetty currently has 3 girl’s teams, who in the upcoming season will be: Under 9s, 11s and 13s, with over 70 girls registered. The club are also introducing Women’s Training sessions inviting local female player over 16 years of age to take part.
